So I have not been posting of late as been recovering from a lingering cold that has zapped my energy but here is a recap of what I did manage to eek out:

Friday the 13th was not so scarey, I attended a social dance where the lesson taught was 'slow dance' and a surprising number of people turned out for the lesson which was an interesting amalgamation of elements of different dances that fit toghether nicely for slow, very, very, slow tempos where most people are rubbing bellys and swaying - now a group of people know how to do it in style and elegance!

Saturday the 14th I worked on some West Coast Swing and swear one of these days I am going to get beyond taking a lesson and make it to a social dance... I have the will but scheduling has been an issue. There are several local dances in our are dedicated to just WCS so I could spend a whole evening working on that. Sometime people are bored with the lack of variety but I never seem to mind a full evening os salsa or swing.

I took a private lesson and worked on my ChaCha technique, specifically rotating my ribcage for more dynamic action. I need to practice very slowly and for long periods to build the muscle memory, it seems to dissipate quickly and I am back to my rigid, ond habits.

That night I was planning on attending the Fuego 813 but got ditched at the last minute and was thinking maybe I should stay in and rest up as it is a bit of a drive to get to the once monthly social held at the Arthur Murray over on MacDill, and I did just that! Did not get out of bed till Monday night - did not even watch a dance video!

Monday night I did some salsa which I tried to beg off of but ended up having an enjoyable time and Tuesday felt better but not well enough for dancing. I will attempt today although feeling a lack of stamina. Everything is best once I am up and moving!

100 days of dance 1-11-12

Today from 1-3 there is an afternoon social I will be attending.
For only $7.00 anyone can participate in a dance lesson and open dancing.
No partners are needed and there are even snacks & refreshments included.

Troy teaches the lesson, and Julie is there to assist. Because most people work during the day, the dance is less crowded and it is a great opportunity for you to get more comfortable with your progressive dances like Watlz, Tango & Foxtrot when a leader must use good floorcraft in navigating around the other couples.

Someone sent me a very interesting article that explained how social dancing helped keep the brain young and wards off Altzheimers because of the neural pathways created by the decision making process involved in using both sides of the brain and body in making judgements while in motion. I will share bits of it with you on Sundays!

100 Days of Dance - 1/7-10/12

Saturday was an hour of west coast swing. This is probably the most useful of social dances, as it can be danced to a lot of music tempos that other dance is not suited for. It's sassy and each partner can apply their own style..

Sunday I am counting late night Saturday into Sunday salsa dancing at a local latin club: Amorama which is located on Ulmerton Rd. in the Icot center. Nicely appointed.
$5 cover, all latin music most every night.

Monday was 3 hours of group class where I am trying to learn to lead some salsa moves so when I go out with my girlfriends I don't have to sit at the table waiting to dance like Saturday night. I did get a post comment asking for more photos - I have not had the time to jazz up the page, my apologies for that.

Practice, practice, practice - there are no shortcuts! Where will you be in 100 days?

100 days of dance - day 6

Some frustrations yesterday with the few blind spots in my routines that are not gelling in my brain. Got further along in my foxtrot but need more practice alone on my part to get it up to speed. At the moment I am doubting myself. That's one good thing that comes out of dance, you find out that you CAN. Patience is not a virtue I have, I am still learning to be patient with myself. Today it's Friday, that means a big ballroom party starting at 7pm with a Tango lesson tonight and 2 hours to dance dance dance.

100 Days of Dance - Day 5

I was having an out of body experience during my dancing. My brain and body were not connected. This can be a good thing for those who are overthinkers...shutting off the censor can be freeing for the body.

Reviewed some routines and covered Silver Rumba - Me Likey! Very, very pretty patterns with some time changes from the DVIDA Syllabus. They offer excellent videos if you want to supplement your learning at home.

Soon to try and add arm movement and technique to ChaCha, as I almost have the routine down... a couple of transitions I just blank. One more thing to think about might just make it click!

Very excited about a bolero progressive class starting soon on Thursdays at 8. 6 hours for $70 is a great way to learn patterns and really know your footwork at value pricing.

Working on a foxtrot routine that is storytelling and open which I am unaccustomed to and while I dislike feeling out of my comfort zone I know that is what growth feels like and that is good for my dancing. day 2:100 days of dance!

Day two of my 100 days of dance involved some one on one instruction and a group class with 7 others!

We reviewed an International Rumba routine where I am still challenged with a gold sequence of turns known as the 3 Threes in the DVIDA syllabus. Need to focus on my spotting in turns.

Reviewed a Jive routine that is new and cannot be danced to strict timing yet but getting closer. I am proud of how quickly I picked up the choreography. High knees! Need to add some shaping and styling.

Next covered the elements of of what will become a ChaCha routine - with timing changes! Exciting as this is the largest number of routines I have had in the can at one time, they are more complex, and I am adding more and more.

The group class was a drop in, meaning any one at any level can show up to join for $10 for an hour's instruction. It's a great way to go and try a dance and see if it is for you. Tonight was salsa, which is so popular in our area you can be out dancing 7 nights a week.

What will day 3 hold? A foxtrot routine! Hope it will be ready before Valentines Day.

Happy New Year! I don't know what the new year is always a source of inspiration for some people to tackle something that has long been their hearts desire, after all we can each being anew at any given moment we choose, but I am happy for any occasion that motivates people to continue to grow and change. With that in mind I was very excited about returning to my blog, at least for the first 100 days of 2012.

So technically I have gotten a jump start on my dance by going out on New Years Eve to the St. Pete Colisieum to attend Swingin in the New Year's dance. I've been battling a cold that has struck me at this time 3 years in a row. It's a beautiful venue and this year the dance was not over crowded, I got to see some (but not all) friends who were there that I have not seen in too long and to dance with a couple lovely leaders. you can find my photos on facebook - look for CathyLetsDance!

Opalescence Tooth Whitening by Sunset Smiles, Carole Medvesky DMD

Meet my gorgeous dancing friend Carole Medvesky, DMD. She operates Sunset Smiles on Sunset Point Road! Recently I started a tooth whitening with a new product, Opalescence, and decided to journal my progress here.

First I had a consultation and oral cancer screening with Carole. Next, custom impressions were made. A few days later I had a thorough cleaning (it makes sense to have a clean surface to start the process with and I LOVE having my teeth cleaned, that smooth feeling is wonderful!) and test fit my liners (they were perfect).

Carole explained the use and application of the product. We are using a 10% solution for a longer period of time for a slow but long lasting effect. The kit includes a gel solution in two canisters.

The syringe solution is placed into the liner and the liner can be worn overnight.

So one of my latest bursts of creativity has been to inspire the manufacture and sale of affordable, custom shoe bags. I am tired of paying good money for dance shoes only to be toting them around in a nasty disposable piece of weedstop with a shoelace. It actually dawned on me when I saw another rather stylish dancer/instructor (dancewithForrest.com) carrying a bag that was so unworthy of his style and class...he needed a bag that reflected him, Eureka!

Some exemlars were made up and shown around and we have improved upon the original by adding a key ring, fan for the ladies, and would like to add some much requested pockets on the next models. Lovely fabric grade and patter selection or have one made to go with you costume and WOW everyone wherever you go.

My Twitter Won't Tweet!

@wealthynelson is all messed up...

the last time I cleaned up some things on my laptop IE/removed cookies, deleted histories something on twitter went haywire and I have spent useless hours of my life retracing my path to try and ressurect twitter... I can tweet from my mobile device and other apps that talk TO twitter are up and running so i know it's once again operator error - something on the laptop wbut WHAT?

No matter WHAT I try I get error code 403 "forbidden" telling my I am not authorized or that the server understood but would not fulfill my request...

I am tired of being unfulfilled by Twitter! When I google twitter.com it logs me right into my account but that is as far as I can go... I can read all about everything but I cannot interact. Any help out there for a tweetless chic?

I have a friend who has so inspired me to take my thrift to the next level by using coupons more often and effectively. This girl is doing it right, she is getting paid to do her shopping. When she walks to the register the cashierist clucks her tounge (jealous) and my girl usually leave with a hundred in merchandise and money give back to her... it's pretty unimaginable but very possible. I am under tuteledge of the master and did some shopping today...

Last night I had a new first experience and got to share it with a couple of girlfriends. As you get older and if you have been challenging yourself, there tend to be fewer 'new' or 'first' experiences so it's always fun to break out of the routine and do something different. Thankfully the world is still a big enough place that I hope not to run out of new first experiences any time soon (I plan to live a long time and maintain a healthy sense of adventure.).

A friend had gone to a charitable function where she bid on a private party at a fine lingerie boutique in Tampa's Hyde Park: The Pink Petticoat operated by Lesley Geyer.

I was impressed with the sheer genius of the marketing of the party and gladly accepted the invitation (up to 10 for 2 hours of private shopping, complete with rereshments and decadent desserts, plus 20% discounted off any purchases that evening).

Bras and Panties don't take up a lot of room so this shop is able to stock quite a variety of beautiful and comfortable things to don. Amazingly they had my size in stock. Usually only Nordy's can do that and they are a big box store.

After trying on half the contents of the shop (you WILL want one of Everything) here's my score (for all you Divas and Drag queens that wanna copy my swagger):

I've been much neglecting my poor blog. A million excuses. But it's time to regroup!

First of all i need to decide if I should keep that wallpaper photo of myself up or not. I kinda like it because it is a marker for me, but it is no longer current....maybe that is not important?

My dancing hobby is undergoing a transformation and I am in a bit of limbo. I started taking Argentine Tango with Simone and absolutely love the dance, her technique and teaching methods. If you are looking to try something new I highly reccommend it!

Raid Cathy's Closet - this is a party I throw at the house where everyone invited is asked to bring anything gently worn to exchange with other guests and everything left over gets donated to local charity of my choice. It's a great way to clear the closet each season. No one minds giving that expensive item they have only worn once to a bestie, but they usually have a hard time putting it in the donation pile and dropping it off at the charity themselves. The girls get together (all sizes and shapes) and mingle - a great way to introduce all the people you know to one another, and everyone leaves excited with their new found free items. And in this economy free aint bad.

I am encouraging you all to go out and support your local businesses, especially the little guys that you would miss if they were not around. Everyone I know who is self employed seems to be having a very difficult time. Pay cash rather than credit as the extra 3% is going to help.

and hear the story of Myrtle Scharrer Betz (1895-1992) who was born there and experienced firsthand pioneer life with her parents on their 156 acre homestead.

Both her parents, Henry and Catherine Scharrer, had emigrated from other countries so life on the island was a learning and discovery period for all. An interesting program, entitled Caladesi Memories will be presented by Myrtle’s granddaughter Terry Fortner on Saturday, February 20th, 2010, at the Clearwater Garden Club, 405 Seminole STREET (corner of North Fort Harrison Ave and Seminole St), in Clearwater. Her talk will be accompanied by projected images of the authentic island homestead photos.

Another year has gotten behind me. I’m trying to get a grip on the idea of 'TEN', yes-10, double digits…

2009 brought a tattoo, boxes of non permanent hair color, many a wonderful Anusara yoga class....ballroom dance classes a team match, and a rumba showcase at the Rusty Pelican....insufficient time for my paper-craft hobby or garden. I took in the annual Ice Racing show and a Greek dinner in Ybor. A year can never be full enough of family visits, birthdays, informal college reunions, and time spent with friends far and near that neither time nor distance can diminish. I've become a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant in the Sensational Superstars Car Driving Unit. Rented a Prius Hybrid, rode a mule, bottle fed not only several small goats but also the fierce 100+ pound farm guard dog, Bubba that the delivery men are scared of. Recently joined a group called the “Questers”, interested in collectibles. Sold the RV....had 2 large house parties, closets redone and needed a new HVAC system. Celebrated an 11th wedding anniversary alone. Spent a week in NY at Thanksgiving , seeing the play “Wicked’.

Now it's time to consider what to do with myself in the coming 365 days, besides wishing you a blessed year ahead, full of abundance and adventures.

In preparation for the upcoming holidays I had taken the stockings down from storage in the attic and when I removed them from the bag they were in I felt something deep in the toe of my stocking...

Wait, what is this? Can it be that I missed a present from years gone by? Hard to believe I would do that!

I reached inside and sure enough out comes a little silver drawstring organza bag covered with sparkling silver stars. Inside is a lovely silver necklace with a brilliant pink petaled flower with a rhinestone studded center.

I was certain this had to have come from my mother. Excitedly I sent her an email and then the photo. She tells me this was a gift from my grandmother...who passed away 5/28/07. I love that Grama found a way to celebrate with me now in spirit!

Scrapbooking 101 - $20
We've had many new scrapbookers visit us and so came the demand for our Scrapbooking 101 classes. We scheduled two Beginner's classes this month to make it easier to fit them into your schedule and allow for more beginners to participate. The dates are Wednesday, October 21st from 6-9pm and Saturday October 24th from 11-2pm. The class fee is $20 and includes two 12x12 layouts, 2 cards and a tag. You are not required to bring anything with you but if you'd prefer to use your own tools, you are more than welcome to bring them along!
Happy Hour - $5
Yes, Happy hour is back! Tomorrow, Happy hour will be making its debut with a layout designed by Kelly Noel. If you have no idea what Happy Hour means, we will not be serving two for one drinks at the store...Happy Hour is a fun little way to add pages to your albums quick and easy! A member of the design team creates a 12x12 layout and you drop by, make your page (with or without photos) and go on your way. We have another 12x12 layout to go with the one you just made, what we call "homework" for you to purchase everything you need to recreate the page if you so choose. It is a ton of fun and SO very rewarding to have a 2 page layout made a week with little effort. You can see a whole gallery full of examples from the years past in this gallery.
You will need to register with your $5 ahead of time in order to secure your spot. You are also welcome to drop on by that night if your schedule clears up but call ahead just in case, to make sure we have room.
Friday Crop Nights - $10
We'll have regular Crop nights for the remaining Fridays in October, however for the first two weeks of November we will not be hosting a crop and the store will be closing at 8pm so that we can set up for the Holiday Workshop the next day. If you'd like to join us for a crop night at the store this month, please call or stop by to sign up and pay to reserve your spot. Your $10 includes Dinner, dessert, drinks, snacks and 10% off in the store!

"Some say the best musical instrument of all is the human voice - if you've seen Rockapella you know that's the truth," says USA TODAY. This five-man powerhouse of vocal talent sweeps through sold-out venues across the country year-round. With an ever-expanding fan base, they're known as the Kings of Contemporary A Cappella.

Individually, Rockapella is: Scott Leonard (high tenor), Kevin Wright (tenor), Jeff Thacher (vocal percussionist), George Baldi (bass) and John K. Brown (tenor).

The group was formed for the sheer love of performing; singing on New York City street corners with a hat out at their feet. They caught the eye of a producer putting together a television special titled "Spike & Co.: Do It A Cappella", hosted by filmmaker Spike Lee. The Dunedin Garden Club celebrating its 80. birthday!!

Save the date (Oct. 24) -- everyone is invited!

The Dunedin Garden Club is one of the oldest, continuously active, garden clubs on the west coast of Florida, and we are celebrating our 80th anniversary this year. We are celebrating with an "Old Fashioned 1929 Picnic at Edgewater Park", in Dunedin.

Everyone is invited to bring their families and friends, to help us celebrate. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic basket, or enjoy hot dogs and snacks from vendors. We will have musical entertainment, including the Palm Harbor Crystal-Aires barbershop chorus. We are planning a variety of music, games, exhibits, activities for the kids, and a plant display. We will also have some members doing a bit of historical re-enactment -- we hope we can find costumes! -- representing some of our founding members from 1929, and some of the important townspeople of the day. We've also invited members of the local Model-A car club, (although we are still waiting to hear from them.)

Now that I have gotten my act together and created a fan page on Facebook and added a gadget here for my Mary Kay business I feel free to reclaim the blog for it's true intention: the rants and raves of a 40 something desperate housewife in the sunshine state. I'll be back to sharing my gift to the world with you: snippets from my life experiences where I give unsolicited advice to others and we see what happens and you follow my life and times - as (un)exciting as they might be.

I cannot believe it is already the middle of July 2009. I've yet to make a plan for my YEAR OF 41, which is humming along. It's time to reclaim my life and get back to spending the time I have doing the things I love with the people I love. I rejoined my Garden Club - now I need to make the next step to GO to the meetings:). Shopping for and reselling vintage clothing and jewels with the ladies at Antique Addict, and the youngsters at Lace lingere. Ballroom dancing, as much as I can, whenever I can, with whomever I can, as affordably as I can. Looking out for new opportunities - they always abound, but sometimes knock softly. I received my new Mary Kay summer book in the mail this week and have tried both of the tinted lip balm samples. Both colors are pretty and they do show color on the lip, which I like. I don't always want a sheer lip gloss. There is a slight taste and smell to the lip balms so that might be something to consider if you are someone who doesn't like scents on their lipsticks, etc. Blush is a light to medium brown and Poppy is a dark rose color. Both colors are pretty. Very nice.

I saw these advertised in a magazine and the shades looked good.
From the samples you received, are they sheer or do they give denser coverage?

i got a flier in my mail from my mary kay lady. it had two samples of their new colored lip balms in a tube. it seemed really nice from the sample.

she stopped, I haven't seen or used it for a long

I have sensitive skin too, and use the Timewise cleanser. It has just a little grittiness to it. I got permission from my dermatologist because of my rosacea. She said fine, but nothing else in the microderm family. I've also used their products off and on. Their new summer, beachy shadow quad is nice!

I agree, the eye makeup remover is one of the best I've tried. At least get that if nothing else. MK full coverage foundation is nice and their lipsticks are nice, too.

The Timewise Day Solution is really good, its an spf 25 serum that helps smooth out wrinkles and leaves your skin glowy. Also their moisturizers are pretty good, the timewise ones. Their eye makeup remover is one of the best I have every tried. HTH

I'm so excited because I finished a scrapbook yesterday, it's for a first time grandparent for an upcoming baby shower. I figure the grandma can take it now, or the parents can take it and fill it with photos and give it as a gift themselves. I have not done any paper-crafting a quite some time, and while this is no masterpiece it was FUN and so glad I finished something I started. One down, 2 more to go! The theme is (Lady)Bugs and Baseball. I painted this table top for the party also.

The Tarpon Springs Recreation Department Summer Camp Program is this year including a project called "HOT SEATS"... a program intended to help develop the artistic talents of our young people and get them involved in thinking about art in a new way. - An auction of the completed chairs will be held on July 24.!

If you can help (you don't need to be a professional artist, just someone who is creative in spirit) we would need you for one or more of our one hour session. You do not need to bring anything but yourself.

Your role will be to help the campers figure out how to transfer the design to their chair (the chairs are all different), guide in color selection and mixing and make suggestions that might improve the overall design. The experience of "real" artists will be invaluable to our Camper/Artists in Training. Volunteer artists will not be painting the chairs. All paint must be applied by the campers.

IIn addition, each artist will be contributing to our community by allowing the chairs to be auctioned with the proceeds benefiting the Summer Camp Scholarship Fund and the Public Art Fund. The auction will be July 24 at the Recreation Center on Walton St. There are 150 children enrolled in the camp program in two groups. We have several staff people and a few creative volunteers, but we need artists.

Camp starts next week June 15th. Artists are needed at the following times and places:

Did somebody say CHOCOLATE?

Ok, it's over...if you weren't here last nite you missed the Chocolate Dessert Party, complete with 3 tiered fountain and more dip-able items than the group of 40+ could consume before 1am when I turned into a pumpkin.

Someone had the gall to tell me the fountain was no streaming - WRONGO!

That is warm streaming milk chocolate! And mocha wafer cookies, and strawberries. Not in foto: pretzel rods, marshmallows, cherries, cookies, Ritz crackers with peanut butter inside, apples, various and sundry other candy items.

And yes, there was 'real food' - some of the best Pannini's & wraps from Mecca and since there are haters of chocolate, a carrot cake (a moist, delicious, 2 layer carrot cake) from STRACHAN'S (FAMOUS for homemade ICE CREAM) and cannoli and cookies from FELICE PORK STORE (when I miss NY I come here...).

And Michelle MADE this cake - she always has to go and impress the shit out of me:

What a co-inky-idink that these are her initials....Mary Kay... Hmmm.

Now, on to the baby shower. Looks like I might be hosting over 70 peeps! I needs a bigger home, a second fridge, more icy A/C, and some chairs for those asses, then everything will be just right.

Each product line uses certain chemicals, therefore mixing and matching products can cause a possible harmful chemical reaction for you. Using all the same product line will give you maximum benefits. I'm sure that's what you would want.

Me too! A dermatologist once asked me what I used on my face. I thought she was going to be critical, but she said my face looked great and was in great shape. I use the Timewise 3 in 1 cleanser, and I have rosacea. This gives me a little exfoliation without breaking the rules. I also love the eyeshadows, lipstick, blush, etc. I just started using their mineral powder foundation. I think most of their products are great. Check out the new eyeshadow palette for summer - beautiful colors!

I like their eyeshadows - they wear well, and don't crease. I also like the Satin Lips lip balm - very moisturizing. I LOVE their Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub - its in a nice pump, and is not too greasy like others I have tried. I keep this by the kitchen sink.

One product that I used to love was the Silken Hands kit. It was a body scrub, body wash, and an pink (very) emollient cream for your hands. Talk about silk.

Before mineral products, their eyeshadows and blushes had the best pigment ever!

I have comb. skin and I use the creamy cleanser. It is awesome and I can use it on my eyes and it removes my eye makeup. I also use the mineral powder foundation and it is the best !If you prefer an eye make-up remover it is excellent also.I also use and like the Ultimate mascara. Hope this helpful.

My sister gave me some Satin Lips a couple of months ago. I love this stuff!

My husband uses their Timewise lotion with SPF, it is very light.

They have a great eye makeup remover.

I haven't tried much but they have a hand scrub that is terrific...I can't remember the name of it....But it really is terrific.... Satin Hands? I think it's 4 pieces...but it's worth
the money!!

Love their Extra Gentle Cleansing Creme - it has been around forever and takes off anything (you have to ask for it). I also love their night creme for my hands and legs - yes- the bright orange stuff. Works great in the winter when I am so very dry. Their Timewise Cleanser is nice as well - I use it in the a.m.

I purchased their Coastal Colors eyeshadow palette, the one with green/brown/blue and the blue eyeliner... I love the eyeshadow palette - Also the vacation get-away set is really nice. I love the gloss in that little kit! Enjoy! I really would love to buy a large compact and fill it up...but I don't really need it! ha ha!!

I have used the TimeWise moisturizer (Normal to Dry) for the past 7 years as my nighttime moisturizer. I LOVE it...refuse to be without it!!!
I also love the lipglosses (similar to MAC, in my opinion)
You also can't go wrong with the satin lips kit or the cooling eye gel. These are also some of my faves!

   - 2010- preliminary plans are being developed for a project in Safety Harbor.

I agree with all of you. I really like it. That is saying a lot since so many products irritate and break out my ultra sensitive skin. I was very fearful of trying it, but my friend kept encouraging me to try it; I'm glad I did. BE, by the way, broke me out and didn't give me the same nice feel and finish. I sure hope I didn't just jinx myself.

I too use the MK mineral powder foundation and brush and like it very much. BE (Bare Essentials) made my face itch and didnt look too good on my skin.

MK mineral foundation is a good product.My DD uses it faithfully. The MK brush for the mineral powder is the bestest around. I own several of these brushes and use them for everything,blushes,finishing powder,bronzers.

A friend of mine just started selling Mary Kay, and I tried their mineral foundation. I have been using BE and really liking it, but I must say I really like this foundation too. The "shine" of BE never bothered me before, but the MK doesn't have any shine at all, and I think gives a nice finish. The brush that they recommend for it it really nice as well--very soft! Just thought I'd pass this along for any one who might want to try it!

If it's not two things it's a third...

My biggest little dog, Hobo, managed to break his toe. I'm hoping that is all it was.

He was out back, and I was in the office hooking up the printer when I hear him giving his 'Hmmm', which he does when he want my attention. When I look outside I find he has somehow imprisoned himself inside the legs of one of the two the barstools under the kitchen pass thru window. He is sitting there inside the legs and rungs, and can't get back out. I almost went to take a photo it was so comical looking.

I lifted the barstool up over him and expected him to dart off but he did not move. I picked him up and sat him inside on the carpet and put the two others on beds, brought out a treat and he would not stand or move forward. Called the vet and they worked me in. Gave me some pain pills and said they can buddy tape to a pallet but usually this annoys the dog more.

He broke one of the center two toes which do the majority of the weight bearing, it's is broken on a diagonal clear thru but it is in perfect placement -his hind left foot. I guess he was jealous of the other two getting sick enough for peanut butter pills and he decided he need one also. Thankfully it does not appear to involve his spine and I was concerned because he was not wanting to even stand on either foot. Have to call tomorrow with a report. For now he's on his bed rest!

Busy as a Bee...

That's me! I have had the pleasure of out of town company that arrived in time to help me celebrate my birthday and is leaving after Easter. In order to spend some time with my company I did take one day off work, and have managed to be offline by noonish each working day. I limited my time at the dance studio, and found I did not wither and die without a daily trip (or 2 or 3) to the studio as I expected I might. We have gone window shopping at dance dresses at several studios just for fun and out to eat several lunches at Panera, which has to be my favorite 'fast food chain'.

We have gone rummaging and played with Mary Kay products. I made my second MK order - and I have a third to be completed after model nite on April 17th where someone lucky will win $100 cash. It could be you if you can come to the event!

My snowbird tenant is moving so I am on the hunt for a new occupant. If you know anyone looking to rent a 2/2/2 in Highland Lakes (55+) please comment. Had to run over and replace a sprinkler head.

Lastly one of my pets has been under the weather and hopefully we will get to the bottom of things and be on the mend tomorrow. I didn't get much sleep last nite over that.

Tonite it's dinner at Hapa (finally), then maybe out for salsa dancing. Ttomorrow definitely salsa at Rungo from 8:30 - midnite. Sunday is Easter Brunch in The Villages, then back to my normal routine. This moment I'm enjoying the weather...it's a fabulous day.
